1310 Studio Origins

I started 1310 Studios in my beloved ancient apartment in Chicago, IL. The name encompasses all manner of artistic endeavors my husband and I pursue within the walls of our home - regardless of where that home is. We’ve moved all over the country, but one thing never change: we always be arting.

I first developed an interest in hand lettering after watching roughly 10 million videos on Instagram. As one of those fidgety people who can't just sit still and watch TV, I’m always searching for new hobbies to keep my hands busy while I’m pretending to relax at the end of the day. Hundreds of dollars spent at Michaels, and many dead trees later, I managed to start churning out some artwork worth sharing!
